The Theatre Café is set to reopen! We are incredibly excited to announce that we will reopen on Saturday 1st August 2020. It’s been a long few months and we’ve missed all of our stagey friends.
After closing our doors on 18th March 2020, we have been working hard behind the scenes to maintain our online and digital presence to help keep theatre alive during these difficult times.
We have also taken the opportunity to spruce the place up a bit, with a new paint job, and have introduced some additional safety measures, including perspex screens around the counter and hand sanitiser stations.
As a trial, we will open on 1st August from 11am-4pm and will offer outside table seating as -well-as our regular indoor spaces, with social distancing strictly adhered to.
You will be able to order on our website and collect at the counter to minimise contact.
We confirm that we have complied with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19.
You can see our five steps to safer working together here.
PLEASE NOTE: For this one-day trial we are not looking for any additional staff sadly. Our return, we foresee at this time, will be reduced hours and days until London’s theatreland recovers fully. When we need additional staff we will advise on recruitment. Until then, we do ask if people could refrain from sending in CVs and emails about recruitment as we simply cannot answer them all.
