A message from Prince Charles* (as played by Harry Enfield) has been released ahead of The Windsors: Endgame, which arrives in the West End this summer.
Runaway Entertainment presents The Windsors: Endgame, arriving in the West End from 2 August. Starring Enfield and many of the cast of the television series, this hilarious new stage adaptation is from writers George Jeffrie and Bert Tyler-Moore, who are behind the hit Channel 4 series The Windsors.
Directed by Michael Fentiman, this world premiere is an anarchic and hysterical production that follows the royal family’s crazy antics in the wake of an important constitutional event.
The Windsors: Endgame is set to see much of the cast of the television series reprising their roles.
Like all good soap operas, this is the story of intergenerational conflict, with Wills challenging his father for the crown and Camilla determined to see him off and rule the land with an iron fist. Wills needs Harry and Meghan’s help if he’s ever going to triumph – but will they come back from California and their authentic life with their rescue chickens? And how will Beatrice and Eugenie ever clear their father, Prince Andrew’s name?
Featuring songs, sword fights and snogging competitions, this show has everything you need to beat the lockdown blues and is playing a strictly limited run.
The show features set design by Madeleine Girling, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound by George Dennis, music by Felix Hagan and casting by Stuart Burt CDG.
