New pictures have been released for Les Misérables – The Staged Concert, which runs at the Sondheim Theatre until 5 September.

Principal cast includes Jon Robyns as Jean Valjean, Bradley Jaden as Javert, Lucie Jones as Fantine, Gerard Carey as Thénardier, Josefina Gabrielle as Madame Thénardier, Shan Ako as Eponine, Harry Apps as Marius, Jamie Muscato as Enjolras, Charlie Burn as Cosette and at certain performances Dean Chisnall will play the role of Jean Valjean.

Following a sold-out season at the Gielgud Theatre in 2019, reception of the show has been so incredible that it later ran in December 2020, before closing after government guidelines changed.

Cameron Mackintosh‘s production of Les Misérables is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, based on the novel by Victor Hugo. The show has music by Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer and original French text by Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, with additional material by James Fenton and an adaptation by Trevor Nunn and John Caird.

Les Misérables – The Staged Concert is directed by James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy, with design by Matt Kinley, costumes by Andreane Neofitou and Christine Rowland, lighting by Paule Constable and Warren Letton, projections by Finn Ross, sound by Mick Potter and musical supervision by Stephen Brooker. The show is conducted by Alfonso Casado Trigo.

The new production of Les Misérables, is set to reopen at the Sondheim on 25 September 2021.
