Leave A Light On was an initiative of Lambert Jackson Productions and The Theatre Café to generate work for artists, but also create a way to keep entertaining as Covid-19 brought the theatre community to a halt.
The livestream series has been running for just over two weeks and has been hugely successful; so far generating over £12,000 for the artists involved. We’ve been thrilled by the willingness of so many brilliant performers to take part and look forward to working with many more over the coming weeks.
We would like to thank our brilliant technical team for creating the world-class streaming platform; the marketing team, administration, operations for their parts and of course all the audience members worldwide for tuning in.
This Leave A Light On series has been a way to bring the theatre community together, not only around the UK but also around the world and for that we are very proud. It is important for us to run the series during the remainder of theatre closures in the UK to provide hope for artists and audiences alike and hope to see it continue to grow.
