
Hit musical Be More Chill announces two new cast members. The production currently plays a limited run until 5 September at the Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End.
Grace Mouat (& Juliet, SIX) has been announced to play Chloe Valentine, alongside Mountview graduate Nathania Ong, who makes her professional debut as Jenna Rolan.
Cast also includes Scott Folan as Jeremy Heere, Blake Patrick Anderson as Michael Mell, Miracle Chance as Christine Canigula, Stewart Clarke as The Squip, Eloise Davies as Brooke Lohst, Christopher Fry as Mr Heere / Mr Reyes and James Hameed as Rich Goranski, as well as Gabriel Hinchliffe, Eve Norris, Miles Paloma and Brandon Lee Sears.
Be More Chill tells the atypical love story of a boy, a girl… and a supercomputer inside the boy’s head that guides him every step of the way. The boy is desperate to be loved. The girl is longing to be noticed. And the supercomputer just wants to take over the world.
Based on the ground-breaking 2004 cult novel of the same name by Ned Vizzini, the musical features a book by Joe Tracz and a Tony Award-nominated original score by Joe Iconis.
The production is directed by Stephen Brackett, with choreography by Chase Brock, set design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Bobby Frederick Tilley, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, sound design by Ryan Rumery and projection design by Alex Basco Koch.
Associate director is Gavin Mitford, musical supervisor and orchestrations are by Charlie Rosen, music vocal arrangements by Emily Marshall and UK casting is by Will Burton.
