Carrie Hope Fletcher will star in a new production of Heathers the Musical at The Other Palace later this year.

The actress, who became a favourite with West End audiences for her portrayal of the waif Eponine in Les Miserables, has recently released a solo album and commands an enviable online following.

Heathers the Musical is based on the cult 80s film, which starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. It played Off-Broadway in 2014 and has been workshopped on a number of occasions in the UK.

Artistic Director of The Other Palace, Paul Taylor Mills said on social media that it is a project he has been working on for years.

Carrie Hope Fletcher is not only a star of the stage, but is a best selling author and acclaimed Youtuber.

Tickets went on sale at 10am, but the website almost immediately crashed, such was the demand.

Heathers the Musical will run at The Other Palace from Jun 9 – Aug 4 2018
