News: Drew Gasparini’s I Could Use A Drink to premiere in West End

Drew Gasparini’s musical I Could Use A Drink is set to receive its West End premiere at the Garrick Theatre on Monday 2 August. The show is set to feature added songs with nine musical theatre stars.

For one night only, I Could Use A Drink, which was originally released as an album in 2013, arrives in London, featuring an eclectic mix of progressive contemporary musical theatre. It includes themes from teen pregnancy and heartbreak to mass shootings due to bullying.

Producers Liam Gartland and Alex Conder have reimagined its cutting edge musical theatre songs with some of the West End’s biggest stars, including Ahmed Hamad (Rent), Billy Nevers (& Juliet), Caroline Kay (Daisy), Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Maiya Quansah-Breed (SIX), Olivia Lallo (GSA 2020 graduate) and Tom Francis (Rent), with further casting yet to be announced.

The show features musical direction by Flynn Sturgeon, with direction by Alex Conder.

Drew Gasparini is an award-winning  musical theatre composer/lyricist, a singer/songwriter, and a teacher.
