News: Critically-acclaimed revival of Nick Payne’s Constellations to be released online

Due to popular demand, all four casts of the recent, critically-acclaimed revival of Nick Payne’s Constellations will be available to watch online. The shows will be released this autumn.

Constellations broke records at the Vaudeville Theatre, starring multiple casts including Sheila Atim and Ivanno Jeremiah, Peter Capaldi and Zoë Wanamaker, Omari Douglas and Russell Tovey, and Anna Maxwell Martin and Chris O’Dowd.

The show was an innovative producing model, devised in response to the pandemic, and saw Donmar Warehouse Artistic Director Michael Longhurst rehearse four different casts.

The productions will premiere online in October 2021, and will be available on demand for one month, marking the first time the Donmar Warehouse has made its work available on demand on its own dedicated platform.

Each production will be £15 to rent and households will be able to watch the show for 24 hours after purchase; or a multi-buy of all 4 for £40, with extended viewing time.

A quantum physicist and a beekeeper meet at a barbeque. They hit it off, or perhaps they don’t. They go home together, or maybe they go their separate ways. In the multiverse, with every possible future ahead of them, a love of honey could make all the difference…
