News: Cast announced for White Christmas UK tour

Cast has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of Irving Berlin’s musical White Christmas, which is set to open at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking on 28 October.

The show will star Sheila Ferguson (The Three Degrees) as Martha Watson, Dan Burton reprising his role as Phil Davis, Matthew Jeans (Les Misérables) as Bob Wallace, Jessica Daley (An Officer and a Gentleman) as Betty Haynes, Emily Langham (Carousel) as Judy Haynes and Duncan Smith (The Phantom of the Opera) as General Waverly.

The musical will tour venues across the UK over the festive season, including The Bristol Hippdrome, Canterbury Marlowe, Manchester Palace Theatre, Plymouth Theatre Royal and Edinburgh Playhouse.

Full company includes Phillip Bertioli, Imogen Bowtell, Isabel Canning, Freddie Clements, Meg Darcy, Adam Denman, Beth Devine, Kirsty Fuller, Ashton Harkness, Sam Holden, Matt Holland, Samuel John-Humphreys, Aoife Kenny, Ella Kemp, Joshua Lovell, Martin McCarthy, Ben Munday, Oliver RamsdaleKayleigh Thadani and Kraig Thornber.

White Christmas is the timeless, romantic comedy that features classic songs including “Blue Skies”, “Sisters”, “I Love a Piano”, “White Christmas” and many more.

The musical has music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and a book by David Ives and Paul Blake. It is based on the original production by Nikolai Foster and is directed by Ian Talbot OBE and choreographed by Stephen Mear CBE. The production has set design by Michael Taylor and costume design by Diego Pitarch, with musical supervision by Stephen Brooker, lighting design by Mark Henderson and sound design by Tom Marshall. Orchestrations are by Larry Blank with new musical arrangements by Jason Carr.
