Beautiful Announces Closure

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical has announced it’s West End closure.

The show, which opened in opened in February 2015 at the Aldwych Theatre will end it’s run on August 5th.

Beautiful follows the story of Carole King’s life from her days as a school girl to her work with her husband and song writing partner Gerry Goffin. Songs in the show include “So Far Away”, “Take Good Care of My Baby” and “Locomotion”.

Cassidy Janson is currently playing King in the West End alongside Matthew Seadon-Young as King’s husband and song-writing partner Gerry Goffin, Stephanie McKeon as song-writer Cynthia Weil, Ian McIntosh as song-writer Barry Mann, Joseph Prouse as music publisher and producer Donnie Kirshner and Barbara Drennan as King’s mother Genie Klein.
