Cast has been announced for the West End return of Olivier Award-nominated show Potted Panto. The show is set to play a festive season at the Garrick Theatre from Saturday 11 December 2021 to Sunday 9 January 2022.
Cast includes Dan Clarkson, Gary Trainor (School of Rock the Musical), Kevin Yates and Liam Jeavons (as alternate performers) plus Charlotte Payne as The Fairy and assistant stage manager and Joseph Peters as Mr Nut and assistant stage manager.
Returning for a limited five-week season, Potted Panto is written by double Olivier Award-nominees Daniel Clarkson, Jefferson Turner and Richard Hurst. It’s a madcap ride through the biggest stories and best-loved characters from the wonderful world of pantomime!
Over 70 hilarious minutes, this dastardly double act will dash from rubbing Aladdin’s lamp to roaming the golden streets of Dick Whittington’s London, making sure that Cinderella gets to the Ball on time. Not to mention the full-scale versions of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty which see the boys trying to work out not only how two people can play 7 dwarves, but also which of them will make the prettiest princess!
The show originally had its West End premiere at the Vaudeville Theatre in 2010!
Creative team includes director Richard Hurst, set and costume designers Simon Scullion and Nicky Bunch, lighting designer Tim Mascall, sound designer Tom Lishman, composer Phil Innes and producer James Seabright.
