Lead casting has been announced for the return of Heathers the Musical at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. The production is set to run in the West End for 12 weeks only, with performances beginning 21 June.

Jodie Steele (Millennials, SIX) is set to reprise the role of Heather Chandler, alongside Christina Bennington (Bat Out of Hell the Musical) as Veronica Sawyer and Jordan Luke Gage (& Juliet, Bat Out of Hell the Musical) as JD.

Further casting includes Frances Mayli McCann (Evita, Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour) as Heather McNamara and Bobbie Little (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Heather Duke, alongside Lauren Ward as Fleming/Veronica’s Mother, Madison Swan as Martha, Simon Bailey as Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach, Joaquin Pedro Valdes as Ram Sweeney and Steven Serlin as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principle Gowan.

Heathers the Musical was a smash-hit success, originally opening at The Other Palace, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher and Jamie Muscato. It later transferred to The Theatre Royal Haymarket for a strictly limited West End run.

Based on the cult film of the same name, Heathers features music, lyrics and a book by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy.

Directed by Andy Fickman, the show features choreography and associate direction by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound by Dan Samson.

The show is also set to embark on an extensive UK and Ireland tour, featuring a brand new cast.
