News: Come From Away extends in the West End until February 2022

Global smash-hit musical Come From Away is set to extend booking in the West End until February 2022. The multi-award winning production opens at the Phoenix Theatre from 22 July.

Come From Away is the winner of every major Best Musical award, earning the Olivier and WhatsOnStage Award after opening in the West End in March 2019.

The show tells the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded air passengers during the wake of 9/11, and the small town and people in Newfoundland that welcomed them. With cultures clashes and nerves running high, uneasiness turns into trust and music soars into the night as gratitude grows into enduring friendships.

A story of kindness, generosity and love, the international hit has celebrated sold-out, record-breaking engagements on Broadway and in Canada, Australia, and a North American tour.

Cast includes Jenna Boyd as Beulah and others, James Doherty as Claude and others, Mary Doherty as Bonnie and others, Mark Dugdale as Kevin T/Garth and others, Alice Fearn as Beverley/Annette and others, Kate Graham as Diane and others, Alasdair Harvey as Nick/Doug and others, Jonathan Andrew Hume as Kevin J/Ali and others, Harry Morrison as Oz and others, Emma Salvo as Janice and others and Cat Simmons as Hannah and others.

Further cast includes Chiara Baronti, Ricardo Castro, Stuart Hickey, Sorelle Marsh, Alexander McMorran, Micha Richardson, Jennifer Tierney and Matthew Whennell-Clark.

Come From Away features a book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein and is directed by Christopher Ashley, with musical staging by Kelly Devine, music supervision and arrangements by Ian Eisendrath, scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Gareth Owen, hair design by David Brian Brown, orchestrations by August Eriksmoen, and casting by Pippa Ailion CDG and Natalie Gallacher CDG.
