Multi-award winning musical phenomenon Wicked returns to the Apollo Victoria Theatre in the West End, celebrating its 15th anniversary. Performances are set to resume from 15 September.

Telling the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, Wicked will play a revised performance schedule from Tuesday to Sunday, with matinees on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. A celebratory anniversary performance will be held on Tuesday 28 September.

Wicked has been seen by over 10 million people in London alone, playing almost 6,000 performances and has become the ninth longest-running West End musical of all time.

Full cast will be confirmed at a later date.

Wicked has music and lyrics by multi-Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, The Prince of Egypt) and is based on Gregory Maguire’s novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, with a stage adaptation by Winnie Holzman. Musical staging is by Tony Award-winner Wayne Cilento with direction by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello.
