Multi-award winning musical Wicked has extended booking at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in the West End to Sunday 27 November 2022. The production has also added extra Christmas shows.

Wicked has entered its landmark 16th year in the West End, and currently stars Laura Pick as Elphaba, Sophie Evans as Glinda, Alistair Brammer as Fiyero, Kim Ismay as Madame Morrible, Andy Hockley as The Wizard, Carina Gillespie as Nessarose, Nicholas McLean as Boq, Simeon Truby as Doctor Dillamond,  Amy Webb as Standby Elphaba, Charli Baptie as Standby Glinda, plus Meg AstinRebecca BotterillLauren BrookeGrace Chapman***, Michael ColbourneConor CrownLewis EasterNolan EdwardsJoseph FletcherFraser FraserRebecca GillilandLucie HorsfallNick LenWill LucasNicole LupinoStuart MaciverCarl ManRhidian MarcJessica-Alice McCluskeyStacey McGuireEmmie RayNatalie SpriggsScott SutcliffeGenevieve TaylorSamantha ThomasGrant ThreshJames TitchenerLibby WattsChiarina Woodall and Tom Woollaston.

New casting will be announced, changing from 1 February 2022.

Wicked is already the ninth-longest running West End musical of all time, and reimagines the backstory of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, revealing the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely friends on an extraordinary journey.

The production has music and lyrics by Oscar, Golden Globe and Grammy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz (GodspellPippinThe Prince of Egypt), and is based on the bestselling novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire. The show is written by Emmy and Tony Award-nominee Winnie Holzman, with musical staging by Tony Award-winner Wayne Cilento and direction by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello.
