Children’s show What the Ladybird Heard flies into the West End this summer for a limited season, from 15 July to 29 August at the Palace Theatre.
Based on the beloved picture book by Julia Donaldson and award-winning illustrator Lydia Monks, the stage show features original, live music from a quartet of talented actors, plus puppetry and farmyard fun. Running at just 55 minutes, it’s the perfect treat for families of all ages.
Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len have a cunning plan to steal the farmer’s prize cow, but the tiniest, quietest creature of all has a scheme of her own! Join the woolly sheep, hairy hog, fat red hen and dainty dog as they take on these villains in their quest to save the day.
With over four million copies sold, What the Ladybird Heard was first conceived when Donaldson went on a countryside walk with her son.
