A host of West End stars will take to the stage to perform an online revival of Gatsby A Musical, filmed in a socially-distanced concert at Cadogan Hall. The musical will be streamed from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 February.
Casting includes former Spandau Ballet frontman Ross William Wild (Million Dollar Quartet) as Jay Gatsby and Olivier Award-nominated Charlotte Wakefield (Spring Awakening) as Daisy Buchanan.
Further stars include four-time Olivier Award-nominee Emma Williams (Mrs Henderson Presents), Marc Antolin (Little Shop of Horrors), Blake Patrick Anderson (Be More Chill) and Chanice Alexander Burnett (Motown the Musical), alongside Lauren Chinery, Robert Grose, Oliver Mawdsley, Tristan Pegg and Marc Rhys.
Adapted by director Linnie Reedman, and featuring music and lyrics by Joe Evans, this captivating concert revival brings F Scott Fitzgerald’s classic to live, but reimagined for a digital age. Packed with colourful characters, infectious rhythms and conflicts, Gatsby A Musical is about lost love in the tragedy of the vanishing jazz era.
The musical has previously been staged at Gatsby has previously been staged at the Crazy Coqs, the King’s Head, Riverside Studios, Leicester Square Theatre, Theatre Royal Windsor and The Other Palace.
