
Production shots and a brand new trailer have been released for Episode 5 – The Classics of Broadway is the latest episode of The Theatre Channel, released this Friday 19 February.
Cast members include The Café Four, Freddie Fox, Bonnie Langford, Mazz Murray, Marisha Wallace and Gary Wilmot.
Numbers confirmed include Freddie Fox singing “Willkommen” and “Money” from Cabaret, Bonnie Langford singing “I Get A Kick Out Of You” from Anything Goes, Marisha Wallace singing “Somewhere” from West Side Story, Mazz Murray singing “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” from Gypsy and Gary Wilmot singing “Luck Be A Lady” from Guys and Dolls.
Alyn Hawke and Emily Langham from The Café Four will be duetting “Put On A Happy Face” from Bye Bye Birdie, with the full company singing “Coffee Break” from How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
The episode features direction and choreography by Bill Deamer, musical supervision by Michael England, set and costume design by Gregor Donnelly, lighting design by Jack Weir, sound design by Keegan Curran and videography by Ben Hewis, plus Thom Southerland as co-director of Episode 5.
