
Platform stream.theatre have announced a new, one-stop streaming solution to assist schools, amateur dramatics and community groups in getting back on stage. ShowShare will make the popular streaming technology available for these groups, with a dedicated team member to help every step of the way.
A new initiative which will allow secure, straightforward and affordable streaming, ShowShare will take care of everything behind the scenes, providing resources for those new to streaming and leaving creators to focus on their material.
Shows from these groups will be streamed via a specially created area on stream.theatre’s digital platform.
ShowShare is the approved streaming provider for The Really Useful Group, MTI Europe, Concord Theatricals, Broadway Licensing and PlayScripts, which offers a huge array of popular titles are now available to license for streaming.
For the first time, thanks to the Really Useful Group, schools will be able to stream their productions of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musicals, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats and more.
ShowShare aims to reach digital audiences safely, securely and easily, whether it’s productions on Zoom or those with a real audience. Productions can be live-streamed or pre-recorded, scheduled or available on demand. They can be filmed with a smartphone of professional camera team – making streaming possible for everybody.
