News: Showstopper! The Improvised Musical takes up four-month residence at the Garrick Theatre

Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical returns to the West End, taking up a four-month residence at the Garrick Theatre, with Monday performances from 7 December 2020.
Further dates include 11 January, 8 and 22 February, an 8 and 22 March 2021.

One of the last West End shows to be cancelled before the March lockdown, the Showstoppers turned their final performance at the Lyric Theatre into an online live stream event, which has since been viewed more than 112,000 times.

During lockdown the troupe  have been keeping their fans entertained with live streams, and online kids shows and bespoke songs, all written and recorded in 24 hours following online challenges from global celebrities including Elaine Paige, Ramin Karimloo and Derren Brown.

Now the Showstoppers are storming back to the West End to take up a socially distanced four-month run at the Garrick.

Rotating cast includes Jonathan Ainscough, Ruth Bratt, Justin Brett, Matt Cavendish, Dylan Emery, Pippa Evans, Susan Harrison, Joshua Jackson, Ali James, Sean McCann, Adam Meggido, Philip Pellew, Andrew Pugsley, Lauren Shearing, Lucy Trodd and Heather Urquhart. Rotating musicians include Craig Apps, Christopher Ash, Alex Atty, Jordan Clarke, Pete Furness, Nathan Gregory, Calie Hough, Chloe Potter, Duncan Walsh Atkins and Andrew Woolf.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical is created and directed by Adam Meggido and Dylan Emery, with musical supervision from Duncan Walsh Atkins, movement direction by Ali James, set design by Simon Scullion, costume and prop design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Damian Robertson and sound design by Oscar Thompson.
