News: The Show Must Go On Live! announce 18 West End shows and all-star casts for summer concerts

The Show Must Go On Live! announce an extraordinary 18 West End shows and all-star musical theatre casts are set to join their ultimate theatrical celebration this summer at the Palace Theatre.

Running for seven performances only, the one-off concerts will play from 2 to 6 June, hosted by musical legends Bonnie Langford and Trevor Dion Nicholas.

All shows that appear as part of the iconic The Show Must Go On! logo design will be taking part in the concerts, alongside Pretty Woman and Back to the Future the Musical. Set to be a night of joyous entertainment, the events will celebrate the wealth of talent in London’s West End, featuring a multi-award winning creative team, plus over 50 performers and a stellar orchestra.

Full line-up includes a performance from Tina – The Tina Turner Musical’s Aisha Jawando, Marcus Harman in a performance from Dear Evan Hansen, Sharan Phull from Everybody’s Talking About JamieCollette Guitart and Hana Stewart who will alternate in a performance from SIX, Trevor Dion Nicholas in a performance from HamiltonDom Simpson and Tom Xander  in a performance from The Book of Mormon, Laura Pick in a performance from Wicked, Tilly-Raye BayerImogen ColeAlyssa D’SouzaAlex Munden and Carly Thoms in a performance from Matilda The MusicalJordan Luke Gage in a performance from & Juliet, John Owen Jones in a performance from Les Misérables, cast members in a performance from Disney’s The Lion King, Christine Allado and Alexia Khadime in a performance from The Prince of Egypt, Alice Fearn in a performance from Come From Away, Lucy St Louis and Rhys Whitfield in a performance from The Phantom Of The Opera, Zizi Strallen in a performance from Mary Poppins and Mazz Murray in a performance from Mamma Mia!.

Additionally, Olly Dobson will perform a number from Back to the Future The Musical, with Aimie Atkinson in a performance from Pretty Woman the Musical.

There will also be a choir of 16 which is made up of musical theatre 2020 graduates.

The concert includes a brand-new opening number, written by duo Stiles & Drewe called “The Show Must Go On!”, which celebrates the theatre industry in these current times.

Creative team includes directors Luke Sheppard (& Juliet) and Anna Fox (Guess How Much I Love You), musical supervision from Stephen Brooker (Mary Poppins), set design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by  Howard Hudson, sound design by Adam Fisher, video design by Fray Studio and musical direction from Stuart Morley.
