Photo Flash: New production photography released for Matilda the Musical

New production images have been released of Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre, marking the show’s 10th birthday celebrations.

The West End musical will also perform at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.

Matilda the Musical has won 99 international awards including 24 for Best Musical and has been seen by more than 10 million people across more than 90 cities worldwide. It is the story of an extraordinary little girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her own destiny.

The production is penned by Dennis Kelly, with music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, and is developed and directed by Matthew Warchus. Design is by Rob Howell, with choreography by Peter Darling, orchestrations, additional music and musical supervision by Christopher Nightingale, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound by Simon Baker and special effects and illusions are by Paul Kieve.
