An online open casting call has been announced for The Theatre Channel’s resident ensemble company The Café Four.
“Order up!” The Theatre Channel are seeking four exceptional, triple-threat performers, all ethnicities and backgrounds welcome, with playing ages 18 to early 30s, to appear in the next five episodes (episodes 6-10).
With UK theatre closures confirmed to spring 2021, the Channel are excited to provide the opportunity for four new actors to complete their season.
They are accepting submissions for two male and two female performers (self-identifying male and females, and non-binary performers).
The roles require performers with experience of musical theatre performance and/or professional training, including acting, singing and dance.
A funny, friendly manner with comedic instincts would be ideal, with excellent vocal skills, the ability to pick up harmonies quickly and a great dancer. This role requires a mix of legitimate musical theatre as well as contemporary vocals, and a strong voice that can be blended for ensemble work.
Applicants are invited to submit a self-tape of them singing a musical theatre song of their choosing which demonstrates their vocal ability, with a one minute excerpt maximum.
A copy of a showreel demonstrating dancing skills must also be sent.
Submissions should be sent, along with a CV, to info@adamblanshay.com. Please also send any queries to this address.
