An outdoor concert version of A Little Night Music, featuring a wealth of West End stars will be performed at Holland Park next month.
The show, which will be directed by Alastair Knights with musical direction by Alex Parker, will feature a socially distanced cast and creative team as well as audience, with 200 seats available. Tickets go on sale at midday on 3 August.
The production will feature a cast of West End stars including Janie Dee, Joanna Riding, Sharif Afifi, Hiba Elchikhe, Danielle Fiamanya, Fra Fee, Hilary Harwood, Emma Kingston, Emma Harrold, Nadim Naaman, Laura Pitt-Pulford, Ella Tronson and Kayi Ushe.
A Little Night Music explores the tangled web of affairs centred around actress, Desirée Armfeldt, and the men who love her. The romantic nineteenth-century waltz has music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler and original orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick.
The concert will also include an eight-piece chamber ensemble of musicians and will run for two hours with no interval.
