News: New Cast Announcement For Witness For The Prosecution

Witness for the Prosecution by Agatha Christie has extended its run at London County Hall until the 30th March 2025, taking the show into its eighth year. A new cast has been announced for this extended run.

The new cast includes George Jones as the accused, Leonard Vole opposite Meghan Treadway as Romaine Vole. They are joined by Oliver Boot as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Ewan Cummins as Mr Mayhew, David Killick as Mr Justice Wainwright and Gyuri Sarossy Mr Myers QC.

The company is completed by Alexandra Barredo, Nicholas Chambers, Nicholas Cowell, Rhîan Crowley-McLean, Luke Harrison, Lawrence Haynes, Antony Jardine, Lara Lemon, Patrick Munday, Callum Ravden, Veronica Roberts and Paulo Vieira.

The new cast will begin performances from 19 March this year.

Witness for the Prosecution follows the case of Leonard Vole, accused of murder in cold blood. The audience are placed in the thick of the action as Christie’s enthralling tale of justice, passion and betrayal unfolds around them. The twists and turns of the case are played out in a spectacular courtroom setting inside the atmospheric London County Hall as prosecution battles defence and witnesses take the stand to give their shocking testimonies.

The production received Best Revival nominations at the 2018 Olivier and WhatsOnStage Awards.

The production is directed by Lucy Bailey, designed by William Dudley, with lighting by Chris Davey, sound design by Mic Pool and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.
