The Comedy Of Errors will open at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre as part of their summer season ‘Feel Alive’ from the 21st August until the 27th October.
Previously featured in the Summer 2023 season, The Comedy of Errors is set to bring the joy and chaos of Elizabethan London, transforming the Globe Theatre into a bustling dock complete with ship masts and piers. Shakespeare’s wild comedy about rival cities, long-lost siblings and mistaken identities will be co-directed by Sean Holmes (Much Ado About Nothing, Globe) and Naeem Hayat (Burnt at the Stake, Globe).
The cast comprises of Daniel Adeosun as Antipholus of Syracuse, Gabrielle Brooks as Adriana, Roman Hayeck-Green as Officer / Cover, Shalisha James-Davis as Luciana, Christopher Logan as Angelo, Pheobe Naughton as Courtesan / First Merchant, Danielle Phillips as Second Merchant / Luce, Martin Quinn as Dromio of Syracuse, Anita Reynolds as Abbess, Paul Rider as Egeon, Caleb Roberts as Antipholus of Ephesus, Rhys Rusbatch as Duke / Pinch, Lizzie Schenk as Ephesian / Cover, Sam Swann as Dromio of Ephesus.
