Merry Christmas from The Theatre Café!

It’s that time of year again, and we want to take this opportunity to say thank you to our wonderful, theatrical community for your ongoing support throughout 2020.

With the closure of theatres, we are lucky enough to have opened our doors to the public a number of times, and help to keep the industry alive with Leave a Light On, Out of the Darkness, Into the Spotlight and The Theatre Channel.

We hope to be “Opening Up” again soon in the New Year or Tier, and cannot wait to welcome everyone back to a new, refurbished Café – with the same friendly faces, delicious drinks and stagey setting.

To get in the spirit of things, some friends have joined us for a festive singalong.

“Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” features Alice Fearn, Stephen Ashfield, Hiba Elchike, Jay Perry, Emma Kingston, Jack Malin and Shekinah Mcfarlane, as well as up and coming talent Callum Henderson, Katy Haffner, Caleb Lagayan, Josh Barnett and Gracie McGonigal.

The track features piano and orchestrations by Christopher Bond, alongside Steve Jones (drums), Matthew Farrell (bass), Daisy Evans (saxophone), Thomas Fountain (trumpet) and Dafydd Thomas (trombone). The video is edited by Jake Waby Productions.
