A brand new concert entitled The Platform is set to stream online later this month, with the aim to create a place where professionals from across the industry can showcase their work and be seen. The show will be streamed on 24 and 25 April from 7:30pm.
With theatres currently closed, the concert sets out to allow participants to feel seen, heard and valued. This first showcase will feature performances filmed by the artists in their own setting, unified into a 70 minute online concert.
The Platform holds diversity and inclusivity at its core, welcoming those of any age, colour, shape and size – hoping to help create and continue the conversation for positive change.
Featuring actors, dancers, musicians, singers, poets, drag queens, new writing and an ever-growing list of creatives, The Platform boasts a wonderful medley of talent, from seasoned professionals to recent graduates.
Artists include Laura Baldwin, Edward Bullingham, Onyemachi Ejimofor, Anya Ferdinand, Remi Ferdinand, Ghost Light (Adam Gillian & Ghost Light Ensemble), Chloë Hart, Miss Jacqui, Stephen Leask, Lovelle (Joshua Lovell), Leah St Luce, Christina Modestou, Clare Perkins, Samuel Routley, Harry Sheasby and Stanton Wright.
The Platform is produced by founders Laura Baldwin & Stanton Wright.
