News: Lambert Jackson announce new song cycle Well-Behaved Women

Lambert Jackson have announced a brand new song cycle by Carmel Dean to play for one night only at Cadogan Hall. Well-Behaved Women features an all-star West End cast and will run on Friday 3 September.

Directed by Julie Atherton and with musical direction by Ellie Verkerk, the concert celebrates women across history.

Cast includes Maisey Bawden as Lady Liberty, Anna-Jane Casey as Billie Jean King and Janet Armstrong, Janie Dee as Eleanor Roosevelt, Nicole Raquel Dennis as Eve, Hiba Elchikhe as Cleopatra and Malala Yousafzai, Kerry Ellis as Boudicca, Gabriela García as Frida Kahlo, Cassidy Janson as Virginia Woolf, Rachel John as Maya Angelou, Linda John-Pierre as Harriet Tubman and Rachael Wooding as Mary Magdalene, accompanied by an all-female live band.

Find out in Well-Behaved Women, a new collection of songs by Carmel Dean. Women from across the years will be brought to life by some of the West End’s finest leading ladies, and through these powerful and often hilarious songs, will celebrate the ways in which their bad-ass behaviour helped them make history.

Well-Behaved Women is a wonderful ode to the fierce famous females from history, with their stories of courage, strength and resilience memorialised through a range of musical styles from rock and jazz to country.
