News: Imagine Theatre launch their own podcast

Imagine Theatre, one of the country’s top pantomime producers, has announced the launch of their own podcast, Just Imagine.

In each episode, host Martin Ballard (former host of BBC Leicester and an experienced pantomime dame), is set to chat with one of the many people that this company has worked with, to learn everything about them from how they started out in the industry to what their job involves, plus their highs and lows and most memorable moments.

In Just Imagine’s first episode, Martin talks to Steve Boden, Managing Director of Imagine Theatre, to learn how he came to run one of the biggest pantomime companies in the UK, plus his love of theatre and the effect the pandemic has had on the industry as a whole.

Sarah Boden, Business and Marketing Director of Imagine Theatre, said “We have spoken about doing a podcast for a few years and the extra time that we have had as a result of the pandemic meant that we were finally able to develop the idea further. We are delighted to have someone as experienced as Martin onboard with us for this project. We have worked with him for around twenty years now on panto and with his wealth of broadcasting experience we know the podcast is in excellent hands.”
