News: Full casting announced for world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella

Full casting has been announced for the world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new musical Cinderella, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher in the title role. The show premieres in the West End this summer.

With a script from Oscar Award-winner Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman), the spectacular reinvention of the classic fairy-tale reopens the Gillian Lynne Theatre with previews from Friday 25 June and an official opening on Wednesday 14 July.

Cast includes Victoria Hamilton-Barritt as The Stepmother, Ivano Turco as Prince Sebastian, Rebecca Trehearn as The Queen, Gloria Onitiri as The Godmother, plus Georgina Castle and Laura Baldwin as Stepsisters Marie and Adele.

The new musical features music by Lloyd Webber and lyrics by David Zippel and is based on an original idea by Fennell. It will be directed by Laurence Connor and choreographed by JoAnn M Hunter.

Full company includes Michael Afemaré, Lydia Bannister, Michelle Bishop, William Bozier, Lauren Byrne, Sophie Camble, Tobias Charles, Vinny Coyle, Nicole Deon, Jonathan David Dudley, Dominic Adam Griffin, Michael Hamway, James Lee Harris, Leah Harris, Kate Ivory Jordan, Kelsie-Rae Marshall, Georgina Onuorah (who will play the role of Cinderella at certain performances), Andy Rees, Alexandra Waite Roberts, Sam Robinson, Giovanni Spano, Lauren Stroud, Georgia Tapp and Matthieu Vinetot.

Further creative team includes designer Gabriela Tylesova, sound designer Gareth Owen, lighting designer Bruno Poet and co-musical supervisor John Rigby.
