Production images have been released of musical Jersey Boys in the West End. The production runs at the newly refurbished Trafalgar Theatre.
Cast includes Ben Joyce as Frankie Valli, Adam Bailey as Bob Gaudio, Karl James Wilson as Nick Massi and Benjamin Yates as Tommy De Vito.
With a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, Jersey Boys features by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, and is based on the true story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Further cast members include Ben Irish as Bob Crewe, Mark Isherwood as Gyp de Carlo, Elliot Allinson as Swing, Koko Basigara as Lorraine, Melanie Bright as Mary Delgado, Jack Campbell as Swing, Carl Douglas as Norm/Hank, Matteo Johnson as Joe Pesci, Huon Mackley as Swing, Jacob McIntosh as Barry Belson, Bonnie Page as Swing, Andy Smith as Swing and Helen Ternent as Francine.
Jersey Boys goes behind the music and inside the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Just four guys from New Jersey, when they sang their very first note they had a sound nobody had ever heard – and the radio just couldn’t get enough of.
The production is directed by Des McAnuff, with choreography by Sergio Trujillo, scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting by Howell Binkley, sound by Steve Canyon Kennedy and projection designs by Michael Clark. Orchestrations are by Steve Orich and the music supervision and vocal arrangements by Ron Melrose.
