Diana Vickers is set to join Strictly’s Tom Chambers in the UK tour of Dial M for Murder, directed by Anthony Banks.
The production is set to resume its UK tour, with performances beginning on 31 August at Leicester’s Curve Theatre. The show will go on to visit Theatre Severn, Shrewsbury; Playhouse Theatre, Liverpool; Churchill Theatre, Bromley; Theatre Clwyd, Mold; Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham; Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield, Milton Keynes Theatre; New Theatre, Cardiff; Palace Theatre, Southend and The Lowry, Salford before concluding its run at the Malvern Theatre in December.
Known for taking part in The X Factor, as well as stage roles including The Rocky Horror Show and Little Voice, Diana Vickers will be joining Tom Chambers, Christopher Harper and Michael Salami, who resume their roles.
The show originally began performances in January 2020, before postponing due to the pandemic. Based on Hitchcock’s world-famous 1954 film, this is a new production of Frederick Knott’s stage and screenplay.
Creatives include designer David Woodhead, resident director Katy Osborne, lighting designer Lizzie Powell, sound designers Ben and Max Ringham, wigs supervisor Betty Marini, costumer supervisor Siobhan Boyd, production manager Luke Child and fight director Alison de Burgh.
