News: Kerry Ellis, Lee Mead, Grace Mouat and Dalton Harris lead Closer Than Ever revival

Producers Ginger Quiff Media and BroadwayHD are teaming up to present a digital revival of Maltby and Shire’s Closer Than Ever, starring Kerry Ellis, Lee Mead, Grace Mouat and Dalton Harris.

It will be available exclusively to stream worldwide via the platform this autumn.

Closer Than Ever is the Outer Critics Circle Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated musical revue.

A captivating and hilarious song cycle that delves into the trials and tribulations of modern love, Closer Than Ever takes audiences on a journey of lust and romance, marriage and aging and unrequited love and obsession.

A relatable exploration of what it means to be human and to love, Closer Than Ever is the perfect tonic to the last year or so.

The revue is directed and choregraphed by Stacey Haynes (The Lion King, Grease) and co-directed by Tony Award-winning original lyricist Richard Maltby Jr (Miss Saigon, Big, Ain’t Misbehavin), alongside Tony Award-nominated and Academy Award-winning original composer David Shire (Big, Saturday Night Fever).
