News: The Barn Theatre to reopen with world premiere of Cat Goscovitch’s A Russian Doll

The Barn Theatre and Arcola Theatre have announced that they will team up to co-produce the world premiere of Cat Goscovitch’s new play A Russian Doll. The production will reopen the Barn for live performances from 18 May.

Based on a true story, A Russian Doll follows twenty-something Masha as she becomes embroiled in the world of data and deceit as a member of Russia’s disinformation campaigns during the EU referendum.

The premiere will be directed by Nicolas Kent (All The President’s Men?Another World), and will run from 18 May to 13 June at the Cirencester venue before opening at Arcola’s new outdoor space, Arcola Outside.

Creative team includes design by Liz Da Costa, lighting by Sam Rowcliffe-Tanner, sound and composition by Harry Smith and AV design by Benjamin Collins.
