After closing on the day it was set to open, due to the ongoing ‘pingdemic’, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella has announced that it will resume performances from 19 August.
Originally, all performances were to be cancelled for the foreseeable.
Cinderella features a script by Oscar Award-winner Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) and stars Carrie Hope Fletcher, Ivano Turco, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Rebecca Trehearn, Gloria Onitiri, Georgina Castle, Laura Baldwin and Caleb Roberts.
A reinvention of the classic fairy-tale, the show features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by David Zippel, direction by Laurence Connor and choreography by JoAnn M Hunter. Creatives also include designer Gabriela Tylesova, sound designer Gareth Owen, lighting designer Bruno Poet and co-musical supervisor John Rigby.
