News: Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution returns to London County Hall from 3 August

Agatha Christie’s gripping courtroom drama Witness for the Prosecution is set to return to London County Hall from 3 August. Resuming performances this summer, the show is currently booking until March 2022.

With casting for the reopening yet to be announced, Witness for the Prosecution first opened at the Southbank venue in 2017 to critical acclaim. Directed by Lucy Bailey, the show sees the thrilling case of Leonard Vole, accused of murder in cold blood. A tale of justice, passion and betrayal, the drama puts audiences in the centre of the action in the immersive County Hall setting.

Leonard Vole is accused of murdering a widow to inherit her wealth. The stakes are high.  Will he be able to convince the jury of his innocence and escape the hangman’s noose?

Witness for the Prosecution is designed by William Dudley, with lighting by Chris Davey, sound design by Mic Pool and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.
